The encouragement and support from governments at all levels in policies, as well as the huge demand in the industrial and civilian markets, provide enormous development opportunities and market prospects for the future development of new fibers. New types of fibers will rapidly develop in areas such as transportation, energy and environmental protection, safety protection, medical and health care, and energy storage media. Fiber materials are rapidly developing towards multi structure, multifunctional, high-performance, and differentiated directions. China has become the producer of high-performance fibers with the widest variety coverage in the world, accounting for over one-third of the world's production capacity. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, continuous innovation and upgrading of fiber materials will be a key task, with differentiated multifunctional fibers, high-performance fibers, and bio based chemical fibers as important directions, accelerating the high-quality development of fiber materials.

In order to build a docking platform for the production, learning, research, and application of fiber new materials in China, promote the integrated and innovative development of the fiber new materials industry, promote complementary advantages, economic and technological cooperation, and sustainable development of the industry, we collaborated with industry authoritative departments and the industry academia research organization to hold the 2024 Shenzhen International Fiber New Materials and Chemical Fiber Technology Exhibition at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center from June 26 to 28, 2024, This exhibition belongs to the scope area of the new materials exhibition during the same period, where the elites of the fiber new materials industry once again gather, aiming to gather collective wisdom, share industry events, insight into industry trends, explore industry trends, seek industry takeoff motives, and jointly promote industry development.
