Changzhou is one of the cities jointly released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and four other ministries for promoting and applying new energy vehicles, as well as an important new energy vehicle industry city planned in the "Jiangsu Province New Energy Vehicle Industry Base" and the Southern Jiangsu Modernization Construction Demonstration Zone. According to the Changzhou New Energy Vehicle Industry Plan, by 2025, the city's production and sales of new energy vehicles will reach 600000 units, with an industrial scale of 400 billion yuan.
