The Western Industry Expo is a large-scale industrial equipment expo focused on product display, themed forums, procurement and supply matching, business negotiations, and communication cooperation, with the characteristics of "industrial chain classification display and one-stop centralized procurement", created by the China Machinery Industry Federation, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Xi'an Municipal People's Government. The Western Industry Expo began in 2003 and has made significant progress through years of accumulation and development.
