1、 Project background

Hebei Province is a province with a high degree of aging population. As of the end of 2021, there were 15.07 million elderly people aged 60 and above in the province, accounting for 20.23% of the total population. Among them, there were 11.11 million people aged 65 and above, accounting for 14.92% of the total population. There are 1777 elderly care institutions in the province with 238000 beds. The coverage rate of home-based elderly care service centers in urban streets is 100%, and 4991 day care service facilities have been built in 4717 urban communities throughout the province, making it the first province in China to achieve full coverage.

In order to adapt to the development trend of aging population and better meet the growing multi-level and diversified elderly care service needs of the elderly, Hebei Province strives to enhance the demonstration effect of collaborative elderly care in the 14 counties (cities, districts) surrounding Beijing, while taking into account the diverse elderly care service needs, adhering to the principles of government leadership and social participation in parallel, equal emphasis on facility construction and capacity improvement, and integration of career progress and industrial development, ensuring basic bottom line, stabilizing basic needs, and filling gaps Optimizing supply to promote balance, accelerating the high-quality development of elderly care services in the province, and striving to build Hebei into a prosperous and enjoyable place in the capital.

The 2024 China (Hebei) International Health and Wellness Industry Expo, with the theme of "Building a Prosperous Capital and Enjoying Health and Wellness in Hebei", aims to promote the development of the health and wellness industry, optimize the supply of health and wellness resources, and effectively meet the diverse and multi-level service needs of different types of elderly people. It is an important content and inevitable requirement to promote the comprehensive development of the elderly and enhance their well-being. The opening ceremony of the conference will be held at 9:08 am on the first day of the exhibition. （2） Innovation and Development Forum

At the same time, the "2024 China Hebei International Health and Wellness Industry Innovation and Development Forum" will be held, inviting well-known domestic and foreign experts and industry figures to discuss the policy direction and industry prospects of the health and wellness industry, discuss new models of medical and wellness operation, and set up sub forums such as home community elderly care, rural elderly care, chronic disease management and prevention. Through exchange and discussion, development methods will be determined to promote regional industrial development.

（3） Holding investment promotion and negotiation meetings

Adhering to the concept of "promoting production through exhibitions and supporting exhibitions through production", a business promotion and negotiation conference will be organized during the exhibition period, combining the advantages of Hebei Province's biopharmaceutical, traditional Chinese medicine industry, and health tourism resources development, to promote the integrated development of the regional industrial ecosystem.
