2、 Exhibition Preface

Hebei Province is a major chemical industry province in China, ranking third in the number of Fortune 500 chemical companies and sixth in the total number of production enterprises. Hebei Province has abundant resources, a strong foundation in the petrochemical industry, and a complete range of industries. It has basically formed an industrial system mainly focused on oil and gas extraction, refining, coal chemical industry, salt chemical industry, and fine chemical industry. It has three major oil fields: North China Oilfield, Jidong Oilfield, and Dagang Oilfield, as well as three major ports in Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, and Huanghua, providing important support for the construction of coastal petrochemical bases. The venue of this expo is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei Province. The chemical industry has formed a relatively complete industrial chain, covering multiple fields from raw materials to finished products, including petrochemicals, chemical building materials, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, etc. With the continuous expansion and deepening of the global chemical market, the chemical industry in Shijiazhuang has good development space. At the same time, Shijiazhuang is located in the dual regional planning of the Bohai Bay Economic Circle and the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Economic Circle, and its future development prospects are infinitely broad.
