The Ningbo Fashion Festival was founded in 1997 and was upgraded to the Ningbo Fashion Festival in 2019. It is an international, professional, platform based, and full supply chain large-scale economic and trade exhibition event jointly created by the Ningbo Municipal Government and authoritative institutions such as the China Textile Industry Federation. The Ningbo International Clothing and Apparel Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Expo) is a professional commercial trading platform in the fashion festival series of activities, with an exhibition area of 40000 square meters, over 300 exhibitors, over 500 brands exhibited, and more than 20 forum activities held, attracting more than 50000 visitors to visit and purchase.
The Fashion Expo brings together well-known enterprises, original brands, high-quality factories, and cutting-edge designs in the fashion textile and clothing industry. With the goal of activating, leading, and creating supply chain demand in the upstream, midstream, and downstream of the fashion industry, it builds a display and negotiation platform from raw material supply, product research and development, production and manufacturing, brand operation, and other links, to assist in the allocation and optimization of fashion ecological chain resources, and promote the high-quality development of the fashion industry.

The 2023 Ningbo Fashion Festival is led by fashion innovation, guided by industrial upgrading, focused on brand building, and focused on fashion full chain services. It has four themed exhibition areas, including fashion pioneers, fashion power, fashion chain groups, and fashion numbers, with an exhibition area of 28000 square meters. It has attracted 181 enterprises and 222 brands to participate, including 8 countries from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, as well as Shanghai and Guangzhou Brands from 13 cities at or above the prefecture level, including Hangzhou, participated in the exhibition.
During the 2023 Ningbo Fashion Festival, a total of 43000 visitors were attracted, including over 15000 professional merchants.
