With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, China's sewage treatment capacity has been rapidly improved, and the amount of sludge has also increased significantly. It is estimated that by 2025, China's annual sludge production will exceed 100 million tons. According to the survey results, 70% of the sludge produced by sewage treatment plants in China has not been properly treated. A large amount of sludge and oily sludge will also be produced in the production process of oil exploration and refining, chemical industry, smelting, etc., as well as the three wastes treatment, which has aroused social concern.
