After nearly three decades of rapid development, China's lighting industry has made continuous technological progress and market expansion under the severe test of domestic and foreign markets. It has become the manufacturing center and supply chain hub of the global lighting industry, with an industrial scale of more than 600 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60% of the global lighting industry. At the same time, with the industry dividend brought by LED technology innovation approaching the ceiling and the growth rate of the whole industry narrowing year by year, the lighting industry is facing a new round of challenges of transformation, upgrading and innovative development. The high-quality development with intelligent, healthy, green and low-carbon lighting system as the leading direction will become the only way for industrial development.

 

The lighting industry is a deep supply chain industry, which reflects China's complete industrial system ability from heavy industry to light industry, including raw materials, epitaxial chips, packaging devices / modules, optical components, components, driving power supply, control devices, accessories / kits, production / testing equipment, testing certification and information services, as well as all kinds of lighting application products. The high-quality development of each link of the industrial chain will determine the high-quality development of the whole lighting application end. Under the ravage of the epidemic, the vulnerability of the global supply chain has been exposed. How to realize the safety and efficiency of the lighting supply chain in the post epidemic era has become a subject that the whole industry needs to face. The whole industry should further implement the new development concept, closely focus on "expanding the width and depth of the industrial chain and promoting scientific and technological innovation", and do a good job in supplementing, strengthening and fixing the supply chain, so as to build a modern supply chain system, promote the high-quality development of the whole industry and practice the national strategy of high-quality development.

 

In view of this, China Lighting Appliance Association took advantage of the trend, started with the whole lighting industry chain, integrated industry resources with the theme of "integration of scientific and technological innovation and intelligent green quality improvement", and hosted the "China (Shenzhen) lighting industry chain scientific and Technological Innovation Exhibition" in Shenzhen in September 2022 to build a new "fair + Exhibition" integrated platform for business docking, information release and scientific and technological innovation achievements display of the global lighting industry.
