China International Home Textile and Accessories Expo (Intertextile home) started in 1995. The guiding unit is China Textile Industry Federation. It is co sponsored by China Home Textile Industry Association, textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade and Frankfurt Exhibition (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., and undertaken by Beijing Youshang Expo International Home Textile Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Frankfurt Exhibition (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. It is the only national professional international trade exhibition for the home textile industry in China. As the organizer of the world's largest home textile exhibition - Frankfurt home textile exhibition, Frankfurt exhibition company of Germany, one of the global series of home textile exhibitions (Intertextile home), has become the largest Intertextile home exhibition after heimtextile.



The exhibition exhibits a wide range, ranging from multiple sets of bedding, sofa cloth, overall curtain cloth, functional sunshade, to towels, bath towels, slippers, household decoration products, textile crafts, as well as the design, CAD software, inspection and testing of household textiles.

As a national trade promotion and industry guidance department of the textile industry and home textile industry, the organizer of the Expo, the textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade and China Home Textile Association, together with Frankfurt company, Germany, organized a series of activities at the exhibition to promote the continuous development of China's textile industry and further exchanges with the world's home textile industry.

After several years of development, the content of the entries in the China home textile design competition has developed from a simple three piece bedding set to a complex home integration (including not only bedding, but also a series of home accessories such as curtains, carpets, table lamps and tableware). The exhibition organizers advocated the concept of hand-painted manuscripts, and the combination of hand-painted ability, nationality and fashion is well reflected in the works. In order to more widely mobilize the attention and participation of people inside and outside the industry, let consumers deeply understand the design charm of home textiles, and enjoy the pleasure brought by the warm, fashionable and comfortable home soft decoration culture, big set held an online selection activity. The awards for physical products are set as "fashion charm Home Textile Design Award", and the awards for creative drawings are set as "fashion creative home textile design award".

Over the past few years, China Home Textile Development Forum has continuously invited top designers from Italy, the United States, Japan and France to interpret the new concept of home textile design on site, aiming to make full use of the information platform of the Expo to charge China's home textile designers and promote the construction of China's home textile designer team.

The Expo insists on supporting originality and still sets up a special designer salon area for professional designers to display their original works. At present, more and more overseas designers are actively participating in the designer Salon of this Expo.

The development of China International Home Textile and Accessories Expo has witnessed the whole process of the vigorous development of China's home textile industry, and provided an important platform for home textile enterprises to trade. Many home textile enterprises have gradually stepped onto the stage of domestic and foreign trade through this Expo. In each Expo, the organizers will invite many domestic and foreign trade traders, buyers and agents. Tens of thousands of professional visitors from more than 100 countries and regions come to the Expo every year. At the same time, many professional media also carried out a series of follow-up reports on the development of the Expo, making the Expo the main procurement base of overseas home textile buyers in China and an important fair for businesses and enterprises in the domestic home textile industry.

In late August every year, global household textile manufacturers and purchasers will gather in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) to participate in this annual event.
