Guangdong twenty-first Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo (referred to as "maritime silk Expo") was founded in 2014, aiming to build a high-quality project to implement the national "the Belt and Road Initiative" strategy, and establish an international image of "doing business, discussing cooperation, and going to Guangdong". After 5 years of cultivation and growth, Haisi Expo has gradually developed into an exhibition platform with strong influence in countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road Initiative". The pace of internationalization, branding, specialization and marketization has been accelerated, and the international "circle of friends" and influence have been growing.

This year's "Haisi Expo" will be moved from Dongguan to Guangzhou. There are 3 comprehensive exhibitions and 4 professional exhibitions in the exhibition area of countries along the "the Belt and Road Initiative", cities in Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and bay area, and domestic provinces and cities.
