The 10th Saudi Arabia International Metal and Steel Processing Exhibition FABEX SAUDI ARABIA was held in Saudi Arabia from October 15-18, 2023. It is currently the only exhibition in Saudi Arabia that integrates steel processing, casting, and metallurgy industries, and is also one of the famous industry exhibitions for ZUI professionals in the Gulf region. This exhibition is based on the Gulf and Saudi Arabia, firmly establishing its solid position in the metal processing industry in the region, and becoming a must attend exhibition for industry professionals including manufacturers, distributors, decision-makers, and contractors in the region. FABEX SAUDI ARABIA is the brand series exhibition of AGEX, which tours Egypt and Saudi Arabia every year. It has been held seven times and has achieved very good exhibition results.

Saudi Arabia is one of the countries in the Middle East with a fast development rate in the steel industry. The development potential of Saudi Arabia's steel industry is enormous. According to the 2020 Saudi Arabian Steel Industry Forecast, rapid economic growth has driven domestic steel industry consumption. Currently, the world is facing an economic crisis, but in reality, the impact of economic slowdown on real estate projects in Saudi Arabia is relatively small. Only 4% of the real estate projects with a total value of $543 billion have been cancelled or postponed, thus all these factors have driven steel consumption in Saudi Arabia to reach 19.8 million metric tons in 2013 and over 26 million metric tons in 2015.
