Chengdu Environmental Protection Exhibition Joins Hands with ECOMONDO for the First Time, Quickly Moving towards Internationalization

The CDEPE press conference for the 2019 Chengdu Environmental Protection Exhibition was held in Chengdu on January 15th. This exhibition is jointly organized by Sichuan Environmental Protection Industry Association and Chengdu Huayi Zhonglian Exhibition Co., Ltd. It will be held from March 21 to 23, 2019 at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition is expected to cover an area of 35000 square meters, with over 450 international and domestic exhibitors and over 28000 visitors. The exhibition aims to share the achievements and experiences of environmental governance both domestically and internationally, and provide forward-looking environmental solutions for the needs of pollution control in the western region.

As a key exhibition project in Chengdu, the Chengdu Environmental Protection Exhibition is held every spring in Chengdu and has been successfully held for 14 times, receiving recognition from various sectors of environmental protection in Sichuan and western China. CDEPE 2019 will be guided for the first time by the China Environmental Protection Industry Association and the Italian Exhibition Group, jointly organized by the Sichuan Environmental Protection Industry Association and Chengdu Huayi Zhonglian Exhibition Co., Ltd. The active participation of local associations and societies such as the Sichuan Environmental Science Society, Sichuan Energy Conservation Association, Chengdu Environmental Protection Industry Association, and Chengdu Surface Engineering Industry Association has been gathered. With the joint operation of China and Italy, the international resources of the Italian Environmental Protection Exhibition ECOMONDO have been introduced, which has comprehensively upgraded the exhibition in terms of brand, lineup, and mode, breaking through the constraints of regional exhibitions and rapidly moving towards internationalization.

The Chengdu Environmental Protection Exhibition will also set up international and local exhibition groups, special exhibition areas for water treatment, solid waste, atmosphere, ecological restoration, environmental monitoring, etc. At the same time, a main forum, multiple special sub forums, and enterprise docking meetings will be held in conjunction with domestic and foreign industry institutions, to build a professional and highly internationalized exhibition platform for showcasing advanced green technology solutions in western China and exchanging ideas among various parties in the environmental protection industry.
