Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center

  

The main stadium project of Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center is a sports facility construction project with the largest investment scale and the most complete functions in Wenzhou so far, with a total construction area of 70500 square meters. It is mainly composed of 50000 main fields, 400 meter outdoor track and field training field in the West and other outdoor supporting projects. After delivery, it will undertake the task of football group match of 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

           
Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center is located at the foot of Daluo mountain. In addition to building a main stadium that can accommodate 50000 people, the center will also build a 5000 seat main stadium, 1000 seat swimming and diving halls, basketball parks, outdoor volleyball courts, etc., which can undertake the competitions of swimming, track and field, gymnastics, badminton and other items of the urban games. It will become a sports center integrating competitive sports, amateur training, mass fitness, culture and entertainment, tourism and leisure.

Wenzhou sports center is a public institution approved by the municipal Editorial Committee in 1996, which is under the management of Wenzhou Sports Bureau.

1、 Central organization setting

The central organization is set as 1 office, 2 sections and 3 venues, namely office, security section, business section, stadium, gymnasium and natatorium. Other operating institutions include young eagle youth club and Wenzhou Olympic sports service company. The grass-roots organizations of the center are sound, and the trade union and the Communist Youth League work normally under the leadership of the Party branch.

2、 Infrastructure and functions

Wenzhou sports center is one of the important windows for the city's sports system to serve the society. Its basic function is to provide places and venue services for the city's sports competitions, large-scale literary and artistic performances, exhibition activities and citizens' fitness.

The building area of the gymnasium is 20206 square meters, with 4767 fixed seats and 488 active seats. The training hall of the gymnasium is opened as a badminton hall, which is open to the public all year round. The museum is equipped with central air conditioning and electronic monitoring system, which can arrange large-scale indoor sports competitions and training, as well as large-scale literary and artistic performances, gatherings, product exhibitions and other activities; The stadium stands have 18000 seats, with 400m plastic track in line with international standards, football field lawn and 50 high tower lights for night games. The store under the stadium stands has been opened up as a sporting goods market; The swimming and diving hall has a construction area of 17700 square meters and 2000 grandstand seats, including a swimming competition pool, a diving pool, a training pool and a warm-up pool. All venues have large-scale color electronic screens, sound, water and electricity, lighting and other supporting facilities.
