Harbin Planning Exhibition Hall

Harbin planning exhibition hall is located at No. 369, Youyi Road, Daoli District, adjacent to the people's Square in the East and Youyi Park in the south. It is one of the ten key urban construction projects of the municipal government, covering an area of 8800 square meters, with a total construction area of 21285 square meters, four floors above the ground and one floor underground. The exhibition area is divided into three floors: with the theme of "leaving a historical mark and leading the future of the city", the first floor is the urban history exhibition area, the second floor is the urban planning exhibition area, and the third floor is the district and county exhibition area and interactive area. The atrium type shared space on the middle three floors is equipped with a 1600 square meter physical sand table for the overall planning of Harbin.

The exhibition area includes 30 sub exhibition areas, including impression of Harbin, urban traceability, master planning, beautiful Harbin, eight districts and ten counties (cities), new urbanization and so on. According to the context of history, present and future, it vividly shows the development process and future planning blueprint of the city through various high-tech means.

Harbin planning exhibition hall is an important urban infrastructure, an integral part of urban functions, and an important window to show the historical changes, development status and long-term planning of the city.

After its completion and opening up, it will give full play to its functions of "leaving a historical mark and leading the future of the city" and serving the development and the masses. It will become an exhibition hall of the image of the city, a museum of urban history, and a large classroom for patriotic education for primary and secondary school students, so as to stimulate the general public to know more about and love Harbin, and actively participate in the practice of implementing the new strategy and realizing the new leap in Harbin. As an important basic cultural facility of the city, Harbin is publicized and displayed to tourists at home and abroad, so as to further improve the popularity and reputation of Harbin.
