Sri Lanka Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the center of Colombo, Sri Lanka. With an area of 40000 square meters, it can hold various activities, trade exhibitions, seminars, conferences, etc.

The Sri Lanka Convention and Exhibition Center was built between 1970 and 1973 to commemorate Solomon Ridgeway DIAS, the friendly president of the people's Republic of China, and Sri Lanka's prime minister (Ceylon) from 1956 to 1959. The hall's buildings were built by Sri Lanka and China's labor and building materials. Sri Lanka Convention and Exhibition Center is divided into 1998 small exhibition centers, among which xilimawa Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Center is established as a gift to China. The buildings are all funded by the s.w.r.d. bandaranaik National Memorial Foundation (BNMF), which is chaired by the president of Sri Lanka.
