China Science and Technology Museum is the only national comprehensive science and Technology Museum in China. It is a basic science popularization facility to implement the strategy of invigorating the country through science and education and improve the scientific and cultural literacy of the whole nation. The first phase of the project was completed and opened on September 22, 1988, and the second phase was completed and opened on April 29, 2000. The main education form of China Science and Technology Museum is exhibition education, which reflects the scientific principle and technology application through the combination of science, knowledge and interest. China Science and Technology Museum encourages the public to explore and practice by hands, not only to popularize scientific knowledge, but also to cultivate the scientific ideas, methods and spirit of the audience. While carrying out exhibition education, China Science and technology museum also organizes various popular science practice activities, and often holds popular science lectures for the public. In accordance with the purpose of science popularization and the commitment of "ensuring safety and high quality service", China Science and Technology Museum actively carried out various science popularization activities, and was successively rated as "national advanced group of Science Popularization", "model of civilized unit in the capital", "national 4A tourist attraction", "civilized tourist area in the capital" and "youth civilization" and so on. At present, China Science and technology museum opens three venues to the audience: Hall A (permanent main exhibition hall), Hall B (dome cinema) and Hall C (children's Science Park, temporary exhibition hall). The Chinese science and Technology Museum has an audience restaurant, which is located on the west side of the square of the science and Technology Museum and managed by a professional catering company to provide meals for the audience. The total area of the restaurant is 1000 square meters, which can accommodate about 300 people at the same time. The dining environment is clean, bright and tidy. The air conditioning and various facilities are complete. The customers use convenient and sanitary card swiping consumption for dining. There are also fast restaurants for 80 and 100 people respectively on the first floor underground of hall a and the first floor of Hall C of science and Technology Museum. There is a souvenir Department on the north side of the east gate of hall a, selling more than 100 kinds of exquisite souvenirs of science and Technology Museum and special souvenirs of science and technology.
